So today I am back on plan.
I made some sweet potato waffles for breakfast and topped them with strawberries and hemp seeds. Mmmmm…
Then we went for a long, 75 minute walk along the waterfront in the sunshine. There are flowers blooming everywhere and there were lots of dogs to visit with along the way. When we got home, my FitBit informed me that I am only 1500 steps away from my goal of 10,000… and that was before lunch!
So, now I am in the kitchen. I made up some Asian Beef Slaw, portioned it out and froze it. And my Low Carb Tortillas will go into the freezer too. I love to have them on hand for sandwiches, and I think I will try using them as pizza crusts later this week as well.
And I need a manicure. All this work in the kitchen has ruined my nail polish!

My week went pretty good although I felt like my eating was not very good.. all the chocolates and cake at work last week. EEK! I am hoping I do better this week especially with eating my vegetables.
ReplyDeleteNothing too exciting going on here, the kids are out of school today and seem to be fighting a lot.. I think we are going to go out and burn off some energy here shortly.

ReplyDeleteMy hands are dried out and I need to wear gloves. I think I wash them too much. I make cauliflower pizza crust and it is SOOOO good! 75 minutes of walking sounds like you really got the time in as well as the steps! How many steps was that if you know?

ReplyDeleteI did 21 day fix last summer and actually really liked it! I am doing weight watchers now but if I Wasn't I'd totally follow the eating plan for 21DF. PS - whats the recipe for those waffles?!

ReplyDeleteA 75 minute walk in the sunshine sounds blissful (as there is snow outside my window and the temperatures tomorrow are forecast to be below zero). I had a bit of a cold last week that sidelined my plans, but am on plan this week with my running and trx/tabata circuits!
