Think Pink… and a Giveaway Winner

Sunday’s run was brought to you by the color PINK

The run itself was a short and sweet loop around the park…  3.35 km as calculated by Map My Run afterward.  But it was enough. Although it was deceptively sunny and bright, the wind was pretty darned cool and blowing strong in our faces on the final kilometer.

And it was a rest day on my Best Body Boot Camp shedule too. So, no shame in short!

And our smoothies after were delicious.  Mine was egg white powder, original unsweetened Almond Breeze and a few fresh strawberries with some cinnamon.

And The Captain’s was vanilla whey protein powder, half a banana, some strawberries, and half and half sweetened/unsweetened vanilla almond milk.

We enjoyed them thoroughly while stretching in the sunshine, out of the wind on our balcony.

I just announced the winner of my Knuckle Lights giveaway on the original post…. and I am off to do my Best Body Bootcamp workout before breakfast.  The Captain is cleaning our oven… what a guy!

What's in your favorite smoothie?

  2. I love variations of both of the smoothies you mentioned! I use a lot of frozen berries, and sometimes I change it up with chocolate powder.

  5. I just started using egg white powder for my smoothies and I love getting Jamba's Orange Carrot Karma smoothie. I just bought a Costco haul of organic carrot juice, so now I can concoct my own, similar smoothie at home!

  7. Berries, banana and spinach! With vanilla whey protein of course.
Wish my hubby would clean the oven. Perhaps all he needs is a bit of 'incentive'...

  9. Elle can you tell me about Egg White Powder. Ive never heard of it before. I googled it, but Im getting results for Egg White Protein. Is this the same thing? And Im curious why you use this instead of the Whey that the captain uses. (Sorry if youve explained this before and I missed it somewhere)
