Do you get nervous or excited when you sign up for a race?
How far ahead of a half marathon do you start training?

ReplyDeleteI get excited and nervous about races. I train for about 5 months or so, depending on what else is going on. I am always nervous for a race no matter how long I train.
YAY! This is exciting!! :) :) :) :)

ReplyDeleteI am also excited to try that ginger flavor, I love all ginger flavored things and I am now going to go get one of those :)
Races get me so excited!! But nerves may settle in a week or so before depending on the distance.
ReplyDeleteFor a half marathon, I would do 12-weeks of training focused on the distance. You should already have a good base. The great thing is you can get access to so many training plans online. In mid-November I start a new training plan for a half in February. I want a new PR! By the way, you won something on my blog...come on by!
yay for your half! YES, I get totally nervous the day of the race, not sign up! I'll be like a big ball of nerves on my big day too! GOOD LUCK!
