We thought it had been a very quiet Hallowe’en. We had only the building manager’s little friend to Trick or Treat, and we spent a quiet evening, and turned in just after 11 p.m.
When I woke up at 7:15 I didn’t feel like I had had enough rest to do my regular workout, so I went back to sleep and it was 8:35 before I woke up again. The workout can wait till Saturday. The Captain is still sniffling, and I am still avoiding it! Rest is key I think.
I plan to have a nice breakfast with The Captain, pack up a picnic lunch and then head to our golf practice course to spend some time outside today. Should clear my head and be fun as well.
I want to share a couple of things I am excited about this week.
It’s getting very GREEN in here! These little goodies arrived in the mail yesterday while I was at work and were a very nice surprise awaiting me when I cam home.
The new made in the U.S.A. Gettin’ Lucky Green bra by Handful, and a pair of neon green Swiftwick running socks. Awesome. I won both of these items in giveaways.
I am reading an autographed, softcover, unproofed copy of Tom Venuto’s new book, that he sent to me to review. I am loving it. I already am following one of his programs with my strength training.
I found these Cossack boots on sale at JC Penney in Sequim, WA last week, on our way to the ferry terminal to return to Canada, and was very pleased with the sale price. Then I was offered a scratch coupon by the clerk, to see if I got a further discount, and when I scratched it, the amount of my discount was just more than the price of the boots! I was so excited! Yes, I did pass along my good fortune by making a larger than normal charity donation that same day.
Have a fabulous Friday!
Did you have a quiet Hallowe’en where you live?
Any November challenges grabbing you this year?
Ooooh that looks like a good challenge! You can break up the moves right? Look at the lucky winner! Love the green! One Small Change will continue through the end of the year!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your boots!! What a great discount!! Can't beat that!! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a relaxing weekend!! :)
Love the green Handful! It was sadly pretty quiet here as far as trick or treaters go. I dressed up as a skeleton and my husband and I were ready to scare some kids, but not very many came:/ Oh well, it was still fun:)
ReplyDeleteFun stuff! I joined Pile On the Miles with a goal of 60 miles in Nov.
ReplyDeleteWe had a fun halloween...had the girls out for 1 full hour and they had a lot of fun seeing everyone dressed up. Love your boots - I need to get a pair for work soon! Who doesn't love shopping and great deals!

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun challenge! I love it! 100 push ups? yikes! I looove your freebies, especially that Handful, the color is awesome. I have a purple one and it is my favorite bra, I wear it even when I am not working out.
ReplyDeletewe had a quiet Halloween, we decided not to give out candy this year and from the looks of it, the neighborhood was pretty quiet anyway, I dont think we disappointed any kiddos. :)
LOOVE the green.
ReplyDeleteI need to buy that one ;-)
