I have been dealing with low blood protein, low globulin counts and low white blood cell count for some time now, and I know it is is important for me to eat properly and take the supplements that support my immune system... but I sometimes just don't bother with them.
This week, I am adding that to my #onesmallchange list. I have put them in a place where I cannot fail to see them every morning. No more excuses!
I am doing very well with both of the first two changes I have made - putting my water into bottles each morning is a good visual reminder for me to make sure I empty them before bed time. On mornings I do strength work I usually have the first half of my water drunk by the time I have finished my after-workout stretch. Other days, I space it out throughout the day. But, I am getting it done.
- Week #1 - no snacking after 8 pm
- Week #2 - drink 64 ounces of water each day
- Week #3 - take supplements each day
Are you working on any small changes, to improve your health?
Awesome! Awesome! Awesome Elle! You're doing so well and being so consistent. I can't say enough about supplements. They've made a real difference for me. I too had fallen away from taking some but am back on it now and wow can I tell a difference. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on drinking more water too. I get bad cramps in my feet during ballet classes so I'm trying to remember to eat a banana in ballet days to boost my potassium (or whichever mineral it is). I do hope it works!
ReplyDeletewalking more.
ReplyDeleteI HAVENT DRIVEN IN AGES (to the coffee shop each day to write :-) I have to drive to the grocery)
I'm always looking for ways to work on my health and fitness and to help others do it as well.
ReplyDeleteI've been running for a long time also. I love your story and where you live! I went to Vancouver and Victoria city (!!!) before leaving on a cruse to Alaska with my family!
Great job!!! I am not doing the challenge but I am concentrating on listening to my inner needs more - the ones I try to ignore! ;)
ReplyDeleteYou've picked some great, small changes to focus on each week Elle. Hope this challenge continues to go well for you!
